WORKSHOP: Ready for Remote?

WORKSHOP: Ready for Remote?

The ongoing pandemic led to uncertainties about course delivery methods at academic institutions across the globe. In preparing for a semester (or two or three or four) of entirely online and remote learning OAH asked its community: “Are you ready to teach remotely in September?”

Held as a casual conversation designed to help us prepare, attendees were placed in breakout session on their topic of choice, including: Creative Assignments, Assessment Strategies, Engagement Techniques, Tech Tools, Managing Large Classrooms.

Each breakout room captured their discussion in Padlet, and you can see those conversations here: https://padlet.com/openarthistories/wk2ua3mgu1z3g5ut

This workshop was facilitated by Alena Buis, Johanna Amos, Sarah E.K. Smith, Jen Kennedy, Devon Smither and Elizabeth Cavaliere on August 28, 2020 9:00am PDT/ 10:00amMST.
